Art Performance and Caberet Style Collective Gig @ The Tunnels, Aberdeen
Saturday 21st April
I am playing at the Tunnels as part of an event called Cabinet - music, caberet and film from 9pm-3am. The event is preceeded by an art performance called Dumkoppf outside of the Tunnels at 8pm - if you are 'infected' by the performance you get into the event for £3 instead of £4. The main act is Heather Greene who again can be found on My Space :) and the lovely Kathryn Sawyers is also playing....of course EVERYONE is on My Space...heh. Doors open at 8pm and the cost will be on My Space closer to the time.

Friday 8th December
I am playing at Peacock Arts - go to Castlegate and you'll see the sign on the left, walk down the tunnel and take the door on your right. I will be playing lots of the songs from my first album and previewing almost all the songs from the new one I am working on. My friend Julius is coming from London to play with his band as well.. he has just launched his EP which I helped to record here at my studio over summer. He is great. Gigs are fewer at the moment as I am concentrating on recording my next cd... Well, kind of. I just started to record the first song and something broke :( Something expensive. So I have to find some money for another one..fundraising imminent. Everything is changing at moment, and by next spring we'll see what has bloomed. Its an acoustic night, mellow, with some folky jazzy things happening. I will be playing my lovely accordion and maybe a bass drum as well. It will be two days after my birthday so expect a wiser and more mature performance.

The Boy Lacks Patience was chosen as one of the acts to appear at this year's GO NORTH music festival. Come along and support him and Rachel on cello, onstage around 10.15pm. They are practising hard for a lively set of new and familiar tunes.... They do good hot chocolate and crepes here too :)

The boy lacks patience on BBC Radio Scotland (90 – 95 FM, 810 MW)
Critical choice is a competition on the Tom Morton show, which is playing a new unsigned act, Monday to Thurs. The boy lacks patience plays on Thurs, between 2 and 4pm. On Fri there is a review of all acts, and the public can phone in to vote for their favourite.
Album
There are plans to record 8 – 10 songs over the coming months, to put together an album. It will be on sale at gigs and (hopefully) on the web as and when. Probably be finished by summer – but check back for tasters of the recordings here.
